Verve in Verse

To explore the work of this year's participants, click on an image of your choosing. A number of artists have websites to visit, click on the small link icon found in the bottom right corner of the enlarged frame.

The Kent shows encourage visitors to experience contemporary images within the bones of an historic structure, providing a unique tour of mid-19th century architecture enhanced by modern forms.

This year, participants capture the tension of line and color intrinsically, revealing energy and visual vitality. Whether in concept or in presentation, selected works celebrate verve and unveil vibrant forces. Combinations of raw materials, objects, and traditional art mediums are used in land sculpture and in a variety of two- and three-dimensional pieces throughout the exhibition
